I have extensive and varied experience that spans both clinical
and educational settings. Throughout my career, I have worked in academic institutions, as well as clinical and hospital settings.
I have worked with adolescents and families, many of whom were migrants from 1990s California, most of them Latino.

Some of the topics I have addressed include teenage pregnancy, youth gangs, addiction, domestic violence, and school dropout, among others.

My experience continued, also working in private practice in the 2000s, individuals and families from the growing Silicon Valley sought my help with work issues, adjusting to the culture of the area, and the changes that Google, Apple, and Facebook brought to the Bay Area where I was living.

I continued practicing for several years while experiencing the emotional effects of my own migration process. My new life experiences led me to move once more in 2018, this time to the New England area of the East Coast of the United State.

Several years of personal growth followed, and many critical events motivated me to seek a different work experience that could reflect my new learnings. I found a new opportunity to give back some of the support that I received.
